Chapter 1 Prelude
In this book, we have try
to enlighten on “The God in Sanatana Dharma”, concept of God in Vedas, the
Indians and western writers and other philosophers also illusory illustrate the
concept of God in Vedas, in fact, The Aryans belief in eternal law of Vedas
provide by the God to Svyambhu Manu, who give this knowledge to four rishi to
spray among peoples for living a lucrative life. The name of rishis are Agni,
Vayu, Aditya and Angirasa. The eternal Vedas are contain the all knowledge of
universe like personal law, family law, social law, state administration law
and universal subjects and purpose of this law is to get all knowledge of their
duties and responsibilities.
The eternal Vedas hold
the Rik, Yaju and Sama knowledge which can be express as laws, deeds chanting.
Later on the explanation of tough subjects has been written in Atharvaveda. In
all dharma sutra and Dharmashashtra it has been mentioned that the Vedas are
the prime source of all law, which govern the whole universe.
Many says in Manusmriti वेदोऽखिलो
धर्ममूलं [46] and
proclaimed in another verses सर्वं तु समवेक्ष्येदं निखिलं ज्ञानचक्षुषा
। श्रुतिप्रामाण्यतो विद्वान् स्वधर्मे निविशेत वै ॥ A
learned man, having viewed by the eye of knowledge all this complete system as
according to the authority of Vedas, should certainly be firm in his own
dharma. [47] And धर्मं जिज्ञासमानानां
प्रमाणं परमं श्रुतिः॥ who are seeker of the knowledge of the eternal
law, the supreme authority is the Vedas Text only.
Further, Manu says that the पितृदेवमनुष्याणां
वेदश्चक्षुः सनातनम् । अशक्यं चाप्रमेयं च वेदशास्त्रमिति स्थितिः ॥ १२.९४ ॥ 94. The Veda is the
eternal eye of the manes, gods, and men; the Veda-ordinance (is) both beyond
the sphere of (human) power, and beyond the sphere of (human) comprehension;
that is a certain fact.
चातुर्वर्ण्यं त्रयो लोकाश्चत्वारश्चाश्रमाः पृथक् ।
भूतं भव्यं भविष्यं च सर्वं वेदात्प्रसिध्यति
॥ १२.९७ ॥ 97.
The all social classes, the three worlds, and the four orders of life, the
past, the present and the future—all these are individually established by the
Veda.
बिभर्ति सर्वभूतानि वेदशास्त्रं सनातनम् । तस्मादेतत्परं मन्ये यज्जन्तोरस्य
साधनम् ॥ १२.९९ ॥ All creatures are sustained by the
primeval Vedic text, which the wise therefore hold supreme, because it is the
supreme source of prosperity to this creature, man.
Generally in Aryans
community, there are three social class but there is fourth social class also
exist in society, that person cover in this order who do not have faith in
Vedic text and do not follow the rules and regulation according to universal
law.
प्रजापतिव इमान वेदानसृजत means The supreme God reveled eternal law for all
beings.
